LifePoint Health, Inc. was first established in May 1999 (“Investor relations,” n.d.). It offers inpatient and outpatient quality healthcare services to 21 mostly non-urban states in the U.S. (“LifePoint,” n.d.). It operates in 64 hospital campuses, with a total 8,024 “licensed beds.” Millions of revenues are mainly generated based on providing health care services in designated facilities. Varied services range from “general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics, emergency care, radiology, oncology” and many others. Outpatient service is also provided, in terms of laboratory, x-ray, respiratory therapy, imaging, among other types.
