My current Life Expectancy score is 91. I think that is a high score, and I am so surprised when I receive that score. I thought I could not live until I am 91 because my grandparent and my mom had heart attack, and my grandparent died because of that. In addition, my dad had diabetes, so I think I will be affected from these reasons. Fortunately, when I continue to check my questionnaire, I am so happy because I know that my life expectancy is my own things through what I do in my life, and family history is just a small effect. I know that exercise help us to get a good health, but I am surprised to know that also helps us live longer from three to five years. I often do exercise two or three times a week; however, I think I will do it more
Exercise is physical activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness, but it is not limited to simply physical maintenance it can help in mental elasticity. As a small child is developing the brain is still in midst development. You can almost think of the brain as a muscle, but it is not directly exercised. Yet, in the process of playing games or simple activity can sharpen puzzle solving skill and elasticity for children. It still works for older people, but in age the brain becomes less elastic making the best time to give puzzle skills and general increased connectivity is while still a child. Then again one needs not forget the physical fitness aspect of exercises in increasing the longevity and quality of life. Then again it is no better time to form good habits then as a young child, it always seems to stick in long-term memory easier and longer when trained into it. Exercise also benefits cardiovascular fitness leading to less heart disease in old age. I always see one of the most annoying things in my mind “ I’ll exercise tomorrow” that there in essence why many people this day and age have a increase chance of heart disease and obesity. One does not need to set time aside to exercise. Exercise can be and can take place any place any were just be active. Like waiting in line in the store just standing there, why not do calf raises not as if anyone really cares I have done it countless times. This was the basic aspect I tried to convey to the kids and it is
My life expectancy is 93 years old. My exercise regimen consists of cardiovascular activity 3 days a week at the present time. The survey noted that increasing my regimen to 4-7 days a week might keep me living longer. I am also taking iron supplements, I thought it would be beneficial to my health.
This report is a lifespan assessment of a middle adult, A.Z., on Saturday, March 7, 2015. An Alverno College nursing student interviewed A.Z. and then applied Gordon’s Function Health Patterns tool in order to gain a better understanding of the lifespan and interviewing process. The interview took place at A.Z.’s home and lasted approximately two hours.
In the article Exercise: 15 minutes a day ups lifespan by 3 years, research done by the Harvard Heart Letter proved that at the minimum 15 minutes of daily exercise would reduce inflammation levels that can affect heart health and will improve the body’s ability to fight against oxidants that damage the cells in the body. Their research also has proved that it is most beneficial for a person to include a combination aerobic exercise, strength training, and stretching in their daily exercise routine. Low intensity aerobic exercise such as walking is the best type of exercise to increase cardiovascular health and allow for a decrease in the inflammation of
My life expectancy age is 79 years old. I have always heard of Life Expectancy Assessment, but I never knew what it was about. It is actually good type of assessment to see what you need to do to determine how long you are going to live. For example, to see how is your family history and to see if you have in medical problem. I was surprise that education, economic status, and marital status had to do with it. I guess by people living in certain life can really effect on how their lives. It makes you want to change the way you live now, so you can live a long life.
I personally chose three factors that I would improve my life expectancy and they were, changes to my dietary plan, changes to my exercising habits, as well as changes to my stress-levels. The impact that these three changes had on my overall life expectancy from the first test were unbelievable, these changes made my life expectancy proceed from 95 years of age, to 100 years of age which is completely incredible! It’s amazing to think that just a few short changes to one’s overall lifestyle conditions can add another five years to one’s life. Needless to say, I was completely satisfied with my results, and plan on making the changes in hopes of reaching that 100-year milestone. The two estimates I received were both satisfactorily high on the age scale, with my first, as stated, being 95 and my second being 100 years of age; both estimated me to live an exceptionally elongated, healthy lifestyle providing that I keep up my virtuous
Based on the Living To 100 Life Expectancy Quiz I will live to eighty five years old. If I was to move to somewhere where the air quality is better I would live a half year I would be eighty six years of age. If my doctor was to approve me taking a eighty one mg of aspirin a day would help improve my heart and brain function and will help me escape from having a stroke and heart attack. By taking an aspirin a day will help me will add an extra two year to my life expectancy according to the test. If I was to lessen my sun exposure it would add another year to my life expectancy
Although some believe that exercise only helps to improve strength and body image, it also significantly decreases the chances of devolving deadly health risks because, exercise helps to improve important bodily
I agree, I think that researchers might of thought that the traditional approach was better that way wound 1900 because life expectancy was that low. However, there was so many things going on in that time period that the life-span approach would have been better; I say this because the research could have been interesting because of everything going on. To me 47 for the life expectancy sounds so low… I guess I think this is my great grandmother doubled the life expectancy. She was born in 1903 and lived to be a hundred and one, it was not till the last year or so seen declined tremendously. Up until she was 98 she was so independent, she would not even let me make her bed or simple stuff like that. But because of this, I wonder how many other
I want to live for about 80 years and per the longevity test, I will apparently live for 92 years. That seems a very high number to me. I am not unhappy about it and it is rather a good thing which shows that I am following a pretty healthy lifestyle. There were certain factors on the test which helped me understand the importance of healthy life style, though. For an example, I tried to use different numbers in weight column. And what I noticed was, as soon as my BMI fell into recommended category my age was increased by 2 years. The other thing was if we get blood pressure checked regularly it increases our lifespan by 3 years. I expected for life span to increase by a year but 3 years is motivating. I knew stress can lower the lifespan
Introduction: For about 30 years, researchers developed prognostic scores and searched for prognostic factors to predict outcomes for cancer patients. The “Combs Prognostic Score” for re-irradiation in recurrent glioma was recently validated and results showed that the score is a significant (p<.001. Most changes were in the scoring groups 3 and 4 of the old score.
No matter how many theories of aging psychologists, biologists, or doctors create and test, one foolproof method of reducing aging is exercise. Being active whether you put forth ten minutes or two hours can help the bodies organs and cells fight off the inevitable. A recent study performed by Dr. Mark Tarnopolsky provided new information about the correlation between exercise and longevity to support the majority of biological theories of aging.
