Abigail Adams is a mother who clearly wants nothing but the best for her son and is willing to push him in order for him to become a good man. She forced him to go on a trip, which he otherwise would not have embarked on. Abigail Adams wrote a letter to her son to explain why she thought that the trip was the best thing for him.
