The Life of Karl Marx
Karl Marx was one of the greatest thinkers ever. Studying law and philosophy, he became an important social philosopher and revolutionary. He influenced the lives of millions of people in generations well past his. A man of mystery in the democratic societies, Karl Marx led an interesting life of new ideas that would influence millions in the future.
Karl Marx was born on May 5th, 1818 (Karl Marx). He was the eldest son of Heinrich and Hennrietta Marx. He was born in Trier, Germany. Karl was the oldest surviving boy of nine children (Coser). Heinrich Marx was a very successful and well-educated lawyer ("Marx, Karl", Britannica). Both parents were

On October 15th, 1842, Marx became editor of the Rheinische Zeitung. He was required to write many editorials from a variety of social issues. He also wrote about the new phenomenon of communism ("Marx, Karl", Grolier).
On June 19th, 1843, Karl Heinrich Marx was wedded to Jenny von Westphalen. The marriage took place seven years after their engagement (Marx). Jenny was an attractive, intelligent, and much-admired woman. She was four years older than Karl ("Marx, Karl", Britannica). Karl Marx's wife was the sister of the women who later became the Prussian Minister of the Interior (Walmsley). Jenny gave birth to seven children, one dying at birth, leaving six. Their names were Jenny, Laura, Edgar, Heinrich, Franziska, and Eleanor. Only Jenny, Laura, and Eleanor survived into their teens (Basgen).
After much writing on social problems Karl began to take much interest in communism, which was a new idea being spread (Walmsley). Marx decided to summarize these ideas into his own book. He would change the way people lived for years to come. In late 1847 Karl Marx wrote the Manifesto of the Communist Party, commonly called the Communist Manfesto ("Marx, Karl", Grolier). It covers all aspects of communism. All communist governments were based off of the Communist Manifesto ("Marx, Karl", Encarta). It consists of four parts; they are "Bourgeois and Proletarians", "Proletarians and Communists", "Socialist and

Karl Marx was born in Prussia in 1818. Later in his life he became a newspaper editor and his writings ended up getting him expelled by the Prussian authorities for its radicalism and atheism (Perry 195). He then met Fredrich Engels and together they produced The Communist Manifesto in 1848, for the Communist League. This piece of writing basically laid out Marx’s theory of history in short form (Coffin 623). The Communist Manifesto is mainly revolved around how society was split up into two sides, the Bourgeoisie and Proletariat. I do believe that the ideas of the Communist Manifesto did indeed look educated on paper but due to the lessons of history communism is doomed to fail in the past, present, and future. Communism did not prevail in many different countries, two of them being Berlin and the Soviet Union.
German Philosopher Karl Marx created the ideology of Marxism in his novel called Communist Manifesto published in1848. In this novel, he expressed the importance of the proletariat, or the working class and how they will take the power out of the capitalist hands. However, Vladimir Lenin and the Bolshevik Party took over power in Russia and made what Marx envisioned as communism into
Walter Marx was born on February 27th, 1926 around the time when they was hatred going on with his antiemetic (hatred against jews) around 9 years old he later on moved with some other relatives in luxembourg. Later on Walter’s parents were forced to hand over their business, There home was destroyed as well as his father being arrested; Eventually his father was released and both of Walter’s parents joined him in Luxemburg. Germans invaded Luxembourg and his father was arrested by the french police and sent to death at the Majdanek concentration camp. Later on one night working as a laborer for the germans he suffered a severe spinal injury and tried to avoid being sent to a concentration camp with his mother and cousin who were both killed.
The Communist Manifesto,” published the following year. In it, the two philosophers depicted all of history as a series of class struggles (historical materialism), in this Marx predicted that the upcoming proletarian revolution would sweep aside the capitalist system for good, making the workingmen the new ruling class of the world.
Karl Marx an influential German economist also known as the Father of Communism was the Author of the popular book, Dad Kapital (the capital) and The Communist Manifesto alongside with his friend Friedrich Engels. His words “Let the ruling classes tremble at the prospect of a Communist Revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose from it but their chains. They have a world to win. Proletarians of all countries, unite!” is a wake-up call to the working to realize what they can achieve if they start a revolution against the abusive capitalist system. Karl Marx had an antagonistic standpoint regarding capitalism believing it caused an unjust division of classes, the bourgeoisie and the proletariat, and generated dehumanization and alienation.
Karl Marx was a German philosopher who created an ideology called Marxism. Marxism later on was used to help develop the ideology we know today as communism. Karl Marx was famously known as a socialist revolutionist which later on caused him to be expelled from Germany and France. He moved to London where he wrote “The Communist Manifesto” and “Das Kapital” which explained his ideology.
A person does not have to positively impact the world to be influential. Karl Marx certainly left a mark on the world, but whether his impact was revolutionary or simply detrimental is up to debate. Marx was largely influenced by the ideas of Enlightenment figures like Adam Smith, David Ricardo, and Hegel. Most know him in regard to his writing the Communist Manifesto and its influence on revolutions that led to the formation of notoriously oppressive communist states. His ideas form the base of modern international communism, and for that Michael Hart gives Karl Marx a ranking of twenty-seven in his book The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History. This ranking seems accurate given the factors that influenced him, his accomplishments, and their effects on the world.
The Communist Manifesto, written by Karl Marx and assisted by Friedrich Engels was published in London in 1848. Marx and Engels were both German philosophers that founded the Marxist theory, which are the political, economic, and social principles and policies advocated by Marx. Marx’s book criticizes capitalism and the economic conditions that were taking place in Britain from 1837 to 1838. Marx creates a clear distinction between the “two great classes”, the bourgeoisie and the proletariat in his book the Communist Manifesto.
Karl Marx was born in Prussia in 1818. In college he began exploring socio-political theories at university among the Young Hegelians (“Karl Marx Biography,” n.d.)
The Manifesto was “written by Marx with some help from Engels” in 1848, in which Marx’s “out lines and explains his own theory on communism,” and how it works (Communism) The Manifesto remained “largely unread” because the “German Communist collapse in 1850” and the document was lost until it was “rediscovered,
Karl Marx is often called the father of communism, but his life entailed so much more. He was a political economist, philosopher, and idea revolutionist. He was a scholar that believed that capitalism was going to undercut itself as he stated in the Communist Manifesto. While he was relatively ambiguous in his lifetime, his works had tremendous influence after his death. Some of the world’s most powerful and most populace countries follow his ideas to this day. Many of history’s most eventful times were persuaded by his thoughts. Karl Marx was one of the most influential persons in the history of the world, and a brief history of his life will show how he was able to attain many of his attitudes.
As Marx's writings were so diverse and had such great variety, the circumstances under which these writings were written are extremely important to understand. The next few points are to
