This may be because there is a problem; they are worried about something or not confident.
The way someone sits and the way they use there hands and gestures is also an indicator. Noticing these signs is important so that any issues can be dealt with.

Everyone has different ways in which they communicate and have a wide range of communication needs.
These factors need to be considered; • Sensory ability – hearing loss and visual impairment • Language – not being able to speak or understand the language you speak • Self-confidence – not being able to talk to people due to maybe being shy, this also may be linked to one of the other factors which gives them low self-confidence • Level of learning disability - dependent on severity understanding and processing information may be difficult for them, may have a short attention span, repeating the information may be needed. Having Autism, patient may have difficulty communicating • Physical ability - patient may have had a stoke and able to form words and speak normally and may have lost the ability to find the correct words or say the word due to facial muscles failing. Having other illnesses such as dementia and parkinsons, having to repeat the information

Communication – use language that easy to understand do not use professional terms that can be difficult to understand.
-Communication & Language Barriers- We know that one of our team member is concerned about the language barrier and we will see to it that at all times she is sure of what she needs to do and is on the correct path. All team members acknowledged that communication is essential to the success of our project, and will take all efforts to keep open and honest communication.
For this last group assignment, we were given a case study about language variation. There were four scenarios, and my team’s group was honored to have the only non-English variety of English, Spanish. For our case study we had to focus on children from San Juan, Puerto Rico who have relocated to Hartford, Connecticut due to Hurricane María. These children will be transferring with the Hartford School System, which have been financially troubled for a large amount of time. This leaves us to many problems, such as how each school is going to adapt for the new students, school placement and how to not go over the budget, on top of all of Hartford’s existing problems. As people on a school board, we had to think of ways to solve these issues.
