CONFLICT ANALYSIS USING 5 WHYS TECHNIQUE Conflict is simply a disagreement or argument that can occur between two individual, groups of people in an organisation or between an employer and an employee. Having worked in a home base healthcare company, we use to have conflict almost every minute of the hour, hour of the day, days of the week, weeks of the month and months of the year and these conflict is relatively the same but from different employee or the same employee, social worker, clients and their relatives. Carer A will pick carer B on her way to work because they both live in the same vicinity, but on this faithful day, carer B decided to be a whistleblower. She reported because she wants to protect her interest, that of her client and the company. It is an adequate tool to use when problems are simple due to its simplicity, flexibility and quickness in identifying and solving the problems. Toyota uses this technique to solve problems even up till today. Therefore, I am going to ask the following question to get to the major cause of the conflict between carer A and B. I am going to direct the question to both carers. 1. Why did you stop picking carer B since you are going to drive through care B's house on your way to your client? I stopped picking carer B because she was giving me attitude and I cannot keep carrying her in my car if she is disrespectful. 2. Why don't you communicate with carer A as often as before? Carer A is too bossy and I cannot condone her bossy attitude no more. I don’t communicate with her due to me being on pay as you go contract. More so, carer A does most of the communication before the conflict because she is on contract phone. 3. Why do you get to the client earlier than the scheduled time? The client mentioned to me that she prefers the early
