"My Concerns as an HBCU student." Transferring from a two-year institution to one of the most protégées HBCU's in this country was one of the best life decision I could've made. The astrosphere at my HBCU is second to none. At the point when untouchables specify my establishment first thing that comes to the theme is the legendary "Marching Storm" or our world-class nursing program yet this is simply to give some examples. But with all these incredible trademarks I as an understudy still face worries about foundations with living arrangements, financial aid, and the absence of the educational programs field to consider in. These are just a few concerns to name that rarely gets the mention by outsiders looking in that I as a Prairie …show more content…
Living arrangements are limited so proper information for the future residence is valuable to those seeking out. As a rule, we as understudies get what I might want to call "the run around" from underprepared staff that is put to substitute for the best possible faculty expected to get fulfillment as a future occupant as well as a purchaser. Not just the elements of appropriate staffing being a noteworthy worry of mine, however, the absence of legitimately running water, wifi, and cable after getting subsided into your unit is something else we as understudies living in "Phases" experience. To wrap things up the absence of certain study fields is a concern of mine for future understudies hoping to attend to this protégés HBCU. At my time here at Prairie View, I've lost various of companions I considered family due to the reality of the school not offering legitimate upper-level courses that would be required for their specific field. As prerequisites of the present work society keep on increasing what happens to the establishment in the event that it keeps losing understudies to the different programs that fulfill all needs of a proper degree plan? This hurts both future general funding as well as the students with limited funding that has to seek after another program due to this matter. For future understudies whose family convention is to attend Prairie View what happens to them if
Thesis: HBCU’s are necessary for the future of democratic America because they better prepare African American students as individuals and for the workforce.

As I walk down music note road I listen to the delightful sound of the acoustic guitars playing one of my favorite songs. Everywhere I look I see amazing artists singing. The cars are made out of old musical instruments that play relaxing jazz. The beautiful blue beach sounds like classic pop music. I ask the dj to play a song and me and my friends dance. I walk home with my friend on the piano sidewalk and look at the gorgeous guitar trees blooming in the spring. I pick the flute flowers and make a buckeye. I say hello to everyone walking by and give the buckeye to my friend. I look around this beautiful town and think I'm the luckiest person in the world. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Then I walk to music school. At school we learn

The reason for this is because very few people can afford extra classes that they are not required to take. Instead students should better prepare their selves so if the job they wanted isn’t available, they can adapt to change.
In March of last year, Mr. Stauffer took his family advocacy in which I am included in it to Johnson County Community College field trip. Throughout the JCCC tour, I gained a lot of beneficial information. I was excited to attend because that’s the college I want to go to. The goal of this trip was to see different options related to scholarships, work-studies, and more importantly, the engineering field. Learning about the engineering options at JCCC and beyond has been a great boon to my career goal and a humongous step on the path I will take to get closer to success. Therefore, this field trip satisfied my expectations by learning the campus much better that will fulfill my assumptions towards JCCC. This field trip made me realize that
Columbia-Haus was constructed in 1896 as a military detention centre and originally formed part of the complex that included the barracks opposite. It served as a prison until its closure in the late 1920s. The first year of Nazis government rule in 1933, they erected a Gestapo prison on the northern edge of Tempelhof Field, the site of the airport's future expansion.
