Since my childhood, I was very fond of solving puzzles. During my pre- adolescence age my interest was confined just to jig-saw puzzles and Lego’s, it continued with solving Sudoku and Kakuro in my teenage, and it was this interest in problem solving that made me curious in learning the programming languages. Thus to fulfill my curiosity and continue to explore my interest, I opted for the Under Graduate degree in Engineering with specialization in Information Technology. To excel in my field of interest of algorithms, data structures and programming, I would like to apply for the prime degree of Masters in Computer Science from the premier University of Georgia Tech. The journey of my post graduation career was ignited when I landed among top 1% of the students at the State Board Examination of the 10+2 level and facilitated with State Level Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) for my Under Graduate program under the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) scheme of the State Government. Based on my academic performance I was admitted to the reputed institute of D J Sanghvi college Of Engineering for the under graduate program in Information technology, where I learned core IT concepts like Programming Languages (C, C++, Java), Data Structures and algorithms, Database systems, Security systems, Operating Systems, Software Engineering etc. The Exposure to C, C++ and JAVA developed within me an eagerness of learning them, which further gave me good
The field of computer science continues to grow in popularity and demand. I believe that computers are the future, and by studying computer science and entering a field in high demand, I am paving the path for my success. My interest in computer science and programming was brought out by my older brothers, who both major in computer science. My brothers often offer me challenges to complete and program, and I like to challenge myself. As the younger brother, I am constantly looking up to them, and their success and love for the subject have been passed down to me.
Hence upon completion of my 12th grade, I took up Computer Science and Engineering at the Sriguru Institute of Technology, India affiliated to Anna University which provided me the perfect platform for achieving academic excellence. In the course of my Undergraduation, my area of interest is C, Java, Computer Networks, Data Mining and Web Technologies. Studying aforementioned courses made my journey very interesting. Programming languages have given me the milieu to put theory into practice and have helped me keep my logical skills sharp and limpid. I did not limit myself to classroom learning but also explored various online courses. In this regard, I did several
College of Engineering and Technology’ affiliated to the ‘University of Mumbai’. During this tenure I had taken many courses, of which ‘Advance Database Management System’, ‘Distributed Computing’, ‘Advanced Internet Technology’, ‘Computer Programming’, ‘Object Oriented Software Engineering’ were my favourite subjects. After learning programming languages like C++ and Java my interest leaned towards their specialization. Being in the top 10% students in my class, I got an excellent opportunity to learn IBM tools and got certified trainings exclusively under IBM COE for DB2 9, RAD and C# .NET Web Development Fundamentals from Microsoft IT Academy. These trainings boosted my knowledge as well my confidence. It also helped me in my final year project where I along with two other members had designed an ‘Electronic Toll Management’ system. I had also presented a technical paper on my project at IEEE National level technical paper
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you back to another academic year here at Prince George’s Community College. As our students return to campus and our faculty and professional staff prepare for the busy weeks and months to come, I wanted to take a few moments to look ahead to an exciting fall term and beyond, as well as share a few of the College’s highlights from the past year—a year that has seen us continue our growth and evolution into one of the most dynamic and exciting institutions in the region.
When I realized that the technology behind a computer’s operation could be used to solve a myriad of problems my interest in the field went far beyond browsing the net or playing computer games. My interest was further piqued by my elder sister who explained the intricacies involved in the projects she worked on during her Masters in Computer Application. After that, assured of her guidance, I opted for C++ as an elective in high school, and went on to enjoy the experience of successfully writing programs for computing Fibonacci series, drawing Pascal triangle, and completing my first project, ‘Hangman Game. ' My inclination towards languages, creative streak, and analytical approach led me to believe that Computer Engineering would be a logical amalgamation of my abilities and interests.
I was introduced to computers in my middle school where I had a chance to learn the programming language ‘LOGO’ using which I wrote small programs to move the turtle on the screen in different directions. It was an amazing experience to see that what a few lines of code can do.Then i have decided to study about computers. That motivated me to eventually pursue the I hold Bachelors of Technology degree in Information Technology from CMR Institute of Technology, affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru technological University. Taking courses like Advanced Data Structures and Algorithms, Unix and Shell programming,Operating systems, Object oriented programming, Software project management gave me a solid technical foundation in Computer Science.
At present we are in a technological and computing revolution that will severely change our lives and eventually readdress what it means to be a human. I am very galvanized at the prospect of devoting my career to such a dynamic, fast advancing field. From the time I was young, I loved dabbling with computers and experimenting with various applications. My lifetime has essentially coincided with the rise of modern computing industry, I can feel that there are still tremendous developments to come in this field. So I choose Computer Science as my university major, and now, as I am in the end of my undergraduate course, my central goal is to continue my education in a more competitive and international environment.

High school. I never realized it would bring so many changes. As I walked on to campus my freshman year, my mindset was the same as it was in eighth grade; the young are invincible. And although I was excited to come to high school I had many fears. Would the classes be too hard, would I make new friends, what could I become involved in, and most of all -- what if I get lost? All of these fears eventually subsided and I, along with all of you, found the right classes and the right teachers. We all made new friends. We all got involved in something. During my freshman year, innocence surrounded me and although eventually my shell would crack, not until this year have I broken through. This year I decided that it is time to soar on my own.
My major has gradually revealed the fundamental disciplines and inherent architectures as well as systems of the computer and how to learn programming in the past several
It is no secret that I enjoy a good challenge. Right from early days at school, Mathematics has intrigued me. Challenging problems are my favorites and obtaining solutions to them always leaves me with a sheer feeling of ecstasy. I always did and always will thrive on solving the most challenging problems. When I was introduced to programming in C++ in high school, I knew I had found my calling. This encouraged me to take up an undergraduate program in Computer Engineering at Amity University Dubai. While this offered me a broad overview of the limitless possibilities the field has to offer, I would like a pursue a more specialized degree in software engineering. This leads me to apply for an M.S Computer
Today I have been asked to speak about graduation past, present and future. My first graduation occurred when I finished kindergarten. This is often where we learn the most basic of principles. This is what I learned:
After securing a rank within the top 0.6% among 0.48 million candidates competing in the joint entrance examination for admission into the IITs , I chose mathematics and computing as my branch of study at Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi.
