Waylon Jennings left a big impact on the country music industry. His journey to fame and meeting Buddy Holly started everything. Buddy Holly gave Waylon Jennings his first hit, resulting in Jennings become an unforgettable country music artist. The Highwaymen was a country supergroup consisting of 4 of the biggest country music artist of that decade. The Highwaymen produced many hits that Waylon was a part of, making his fame rise even more. Waylon Jennings ending of career happened too soon. Waylon played until he didn’t have the health to play anymore.

George did not make music for fortune or fame. He made music imply because he had a passion for it. Alan Jackson paid tribute to George Jones at his funeral, which took place at the Grand Ole Opry. George paved the way for country singers like Alan. Country music has evolved a lot over the years, but Alan is one of the few country singers who sticks to the original sound of country music.

Randall Hank Williams, or also known as Hank Williams Jr., was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is the son of Hank Williams, and he has a son, Hank Williams lll. Hank Jr’s dad died before he was even 4 years old on January 1,1953. Hank Jr. is famous for being a country musician/artist like his deceased dad. Without his father present, Hank’s mother helped begin his music career around age 8. She moved them out of Louisiana and into Tennessee. His mom knew already that he had an amazing voice. Moving to Nashville would help her bring his passed down talent out into the world. At age 11, Williams performed at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

Because of this, Jones was left to his own devices, and was on his own a lot as a little kid ("Jonestown, PBS Documentary (FULL)”). He was known as the “weird kid” in his neighborhood.

While stationed in Hawaii, he began playing country music with his Army-sponsored band, Rambling Country. This began his lifelong love affair with country music, and in 1975 he was honorably discharged from the Army
