What is the critical path?

The critical path would be prepare the site, set building footers, building assembly, interior work, set an appointment for final building inspection, landscaping and driveway paving, painting and arrange the sale.

#2. Atrium Bio-Medical Supply, Inc. (System Analysis)
a. What options does Atrium have for acquiring a new system?

Atrium’s options are either in-house development to using an application service provider. With these two options; in-house development: is where Atrium can develop its own system, or purchase a system, they could also customize it. According to our course book when in house development is chosen it will start in stages or steps starting with the planning, then to analysis, from here one has to decide either make one or purchase one, then we will have an in house system, or commercial software package, with customized software for both of them, and the final stage is implementation (Rosenblatt, 2014, p. 266).

When in-house developing is the option Atrium chose they would be satisfying their uniqueness for their business, or to do less changes to their policies and procedures, and to meet the constraints of their existing systems and technology (Rosenblatt, 2014, p. 268).

Atrium can purchase a software package if they decide not to outsource for reasons like; lower cost, requires less time to implement, they are proven reliability and performance benchmarks, it also requires less technical development
