Right out of high school, what few choices do you have? Join the work force, do not get a job at all or go to college? After high school I want to go to college. Although there are many colleges here in the United States, there is one major limit I must follow when picking a college to go to. Since college costs a lot of money, I need to stay instate, which narrows down more than three-fourths of the colleges in the Untied States. Just because the top colleges I love are out, like Ohio State University, Michigan State or Michigan University, does not mean I did not have my eyes set out for some instate colleges. Some colleges in Indiana that have grabbed my attention enough and make me want to go there are IU Bloomington, Butler and Ball State.
All throughout high school, I have dreamed of college. I dreamed of being able to decide what classes I wanted to take and I was excited about finally being able to do what I have always wanted to do: music education. That is what led me to Montclair State University. Aside from the outstanding reputation Montclair has as an institution for learning, my Band Director, an alumni, has never spoken a single negative word regarding Montclair. When I talk to any alumni, they talk about Montclair like if they got the chance, they would do it all over again, that level of love for Montclair makes me want to be a part of it even more. Dreaming of having the Montclair State University diploma hanging in my classroom one day. Wanting the degree will only get me so far in following my dream of being a Red Hawk; to help me on my

Savannah state university visitation rules states that overnight visitors of the opposite sex are prohibited. The visitation rules also state that visitation hours are from 12 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the week and from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. during the weekends. When I first got to savannah state during the week of welcome in the sessions that were held for the freshmen we were told that we are adults now and it was time for us to start acting as responsible adults. We were also told that our parents wouldn’t be here to baby us, to tell us what to do, or what time to get up for classes. I understand that the university has to have rules and regulations. However, what I don’t agree with is how are we supposed to act like adults when we are still being treated as children. I personally don’t feel as though we should have rules and limitations on who can come visit us, or what times they can come and go. We should have an open campus as far as visitation goes, but to a certain extent. The reason why I say to a certain extent is

It is an in-state school so all expenses total to be only about $22,000 which is significantly cheaper than most out-of-state schools. Western is located in Bellingham, Washington, which is about a two hour car ride from home. My grandparents live in Bellingham, so I would always have family close, even if you are not. Western is also near mountains to snowboard, lakes to jet ski, and the Canadian border so weekend trips out of the country would be easy and fun. The weather in Bellingham is typical Washington, where it rains one third of the year and is gray and overcast two-thirds of the year. Only about 14,000 students attend Western Washington each year, but it still offers every club imaginable from the brony club to the entrepreneurial changemakers club. They also offer numerous club sports that really interest me including soccer and basketball. I meet the grade and test score requirements to get into Western so it is a realistic choice of school for
