Logo PowerPoint – ICT used in order to put the resource together, relevant images and activities included in order to meet the aim of the lesson which is for learners to share their experience of logos and to gain a full rounded knowledge of why they are used and to produce a logo from a company that they are aware of and share any interesting facts about why it has been chosen.
This resource is effective in that it hits all learning styles:

These get lost when given paper based and I found it safer to email. Also, there are lots of instructions at the top but found that the learners did not read these and just ticked and dated all boxes but no specifics were added as instructed – maybe the instructions need to be bullet pointed to make it clearer.
Learners returned to class without the document and so we completed a group activity where they made notes individually on a form and then we used the Smart board to note down what everyone had met. I chose the most common experience and we used that to base our first statement on. We discussed the unit that it related to and the group were able to ask questions. I circulated, checking their first sentence and then the paragraph for spelling and grammar issues which were identified and I used an activity to note down key words which developed into a sentence – asking what should go at the beginning and at the end, use of commas, etc. Once the opening sentence was perfect, the learners used the same skills to write the rest of the paragraph and I was able to give individual support to suit their needs on a 1:1 basis.
I have made an employer pack for each place of employment to have on site. This

Inclusive learning can be described as an integrated form of learning where learners with special needs are thought with those without special needs. According to Nind et al: “Education and educational provision is shared by both normal’ pupils and those with a disability, at the expense of differences in the specific nature of each child or young person and her/his particular strengths and areas of weakness, and consequences that these differences have in terms of educational needs.”[1] This means that the aim of inclusive practice is to create a neutral learning environment. It should be noted that that every learner will have different needs and
Then have the class read it together. o Ask the class for their understanding of punctuation symbols (capital letter, comma, full stop) and point to the sentence strips to show examples. o Explain how a sentence can contain one or more ‘happenings’ o Focus on the sentence on the sentence strips and ask the children how many happenings occur in the sentence. o Underline the clauses in the section not including conjunctions. o For each of the clauses, identify - what’s happening, who or what is involved, when, where, why, how?
Don’t forget to keep updating your learner tracking sheet with the dates and times you have spent working on this unit as you will need to send me this completed document when you have fully completed your course.
Drawing on one of the strategies for writing introductions outlined in your text or the lecture, post a draft of your introductory paragraph(s) as your first post. Then, throughout the week, reply to your classmates with feedback on their introductory paragraphs. Note how or why

Think about how you have used technology in science and other classes in the past. Describe 5 ways you have used technology in classes (2 must be from science). When students work in groups to prepare presentations for the class and the teacher, it requires them to collaborate with each other on what information to include and how to present this information. I will require each student in a group to participate in the presentation, which would result in oral communication for every student in the class. The researching from the second part of my instructional model and the papers and exams of the third section require the students to analyze and access information. I will write prompts for the papers that will require the students to analyze the information they have learned and to also access the information from their research. I will also use some essay questions on the exams so the students can analyze the information there as well. The papers and exams would also require effective written

Students are instructed on how to develop and organize their writing by developing a plan or out line to follow. Teachers should discuss with their students how to effectively plan out their writing strategy. Students need to be taught to question themselves about the purpose of their writing. Questions like; “Who am I writing for?” or “How will I organize my thoughts?” are two general examples. Gersten mentions the importance and purpose of the first draft and how it provides a concrete reminder for where the writing is going. The plan and its draft provide a common language for teacher and students to share making communication easier. He also speaks of the strengths of the revision process. Gersten illustrates how peer-editing can be a useful tool to employ during writing.
