Ms. Harper, I have reviewed your paper and conferred with Dr. Meredith regarding this matter. Dr. Meredith contends that you submitted the essay on March 21, but it was initially due Feb. 15. Because the paper was submitted late, he originally disqualified it for credit. He then confirmed what you expressed to me in our conversation that he had neglected to take into consideration a conference that you two had previously had about altering your work schedule for the course and permitting you to make up the missed assignment. After you brought that to his attention, he accepted your essay and scored it according to its merits based upon the criteria articulated in the rubric. It is his contention that you were given until April 11 to rewrite the assignment for credit possibly improving the “Unsatisfactory” grade. Indeed the following is at the bottom of the grade sheet you …show more content…
Dr. Meredith commented that his mother had been frequently attacked by a rooster when she was small. On the grade sheet he also stated that his father was once charged by a bull. His inclusion of those experiences was to address the inaccuracy of the claim that animals do not attempt to harm humans. It appears from the grade sheet that the primary reason for disqualifying the essay was that the argumentation was “mostly fallacious or non-utilitarian” not that his parent’s had certain experiences. Based upon the data I was presented I feel that the grade for this assignment should

For this Media Project, I chose to watch an episode of a Grey’s Anatomy that contains a medical ethics dilemma. I watched Season 2 of Grey’s Anatomy, Episode 23 “Blues for Sister Someone.” In this episode, a woman asks Dr. Addison Shepherd to clandestinely tie her fallopian tubes (tubal ligation) while she gives birth to her 7th child through C-section. She does not wish to have any more children (seven is already a huge burden), but her devout Catholic husband does not allow birth control. Hence, she pleads Addison to help end her childbearing abilities (tying her tubes would be permanent birth control). She begs Dr. Shepherd to do the surgery in private so here is no medical record
I was extremely excited when I began to write the assignment and quickly knew the topic that I was going to use. I decided to compare two of the best basketball player in the game; LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Once I had gather the information and player stats, I began to write my paper. I felt great while writing the paper and the words seemed to flow perfectly into paragraphs allowing me to complete the assignment rather quickly. Once I was finished with the assignment and I reviewed it I felt great about my work. I then submitted the assignment to Turnitin and waited for the instructor to review it. Several days later after submitting the assignment I saw a point score of 8 and was extremely pleased and excited with the grade. I then reviewed the notes and corrected some minor changes to the assignment and submitted the final paper for my grade and again was pleased with the work I had finished.
When classes first began in August, Professor Birnbaum informed our class about the four essays in which we would write throughout the course and be graded on strictly. In addition, we would also get into small groups weekly to gather ideas and improve our paper. Nevertheless, the first essay began. We were told as a class to write an essay on a personal experience in which meant greatly to us, so I wrote about a speech I gave in front of 700 people. I spent less than three days working on the essay with only one revision. In result, I received an outstanding grade of a 93, boosting my confidence in Professor Birnbaum’s class greatly. She commented on the paper that I needed to work on my verb tense, sentence structure, and mechanics that distract readers through the paper. In addition, she also let the entire class know that she would not be lenient in the next three papers and
5) Graph the equation you wrote in step four superimposed over the original data. Comment on how well or how poorly the equation fits the data.
Analyze results - Graph the data from Table 4 and describe what your graph looks like (you do not have to submit a picture of the actual graph!).
I) Conclusion: Write the conclusions regarding your observations and results obtained from each part 2A, 2B, 2C,
Sally and other staff members input the survey data. Sally decided, while entering the data, she would give a zero score to any unanswered questions. Sally made some errors to the data when she mistakenly entered fives as sixes. She also converted the length of time the employees worked in years to only months. Sally entered some of the data incorrectly and will and it will need to be fixed before the analysis can begin. To fix this data the sixes will need to be changed to fives and the zeros will have to be eliminated (University of

a) Based on the baseline data and the resulting data shown in your graphic representation, analyze the assessment data to determine the amount of student learning. What evidence did you gather about the students’ progress toward the learning goal(s)?
I am writing to you because I really need your help. I believe there are some inconsistencies in the grading of my final term paper. I think the issues spotting section of my paper has not been graded correctly and that contributed in significantly dropping my overall grade for this class. I had 18 and 19.5 on the ethical and legal paper respectively; I had 10 out of 10 on the discussions. My overall grade was A until the term paper factored in. I wanted an A for this class and I am really disappointed that the last paper was used as a mean to bring me down. I only received less than 50% on the issue spotting section and I am sure that does not reflect the work I put into that section. I received no credit or no partial credit for some of
Dr. McBride wrote “leaders develop over time rather than being born with the right stuff: (2012, p. 16). I agree with the author. It takes a person to experience different situations to develop a history so that he/she can pull from that knowledge and apply it to a present circumstance. Regarding your question about witnessing a nurse that was lifted up to an increased role, but did not have many of the skillsets that were necessary to function in that capacity. Yes, I have worked under a nurse that was lifted up to a manager that did not have the skillsets. During her time as a manager, she received her bachelor of nursing. She was sent to some leadership training, however that was not enough. The manager had let some personal problems interfere
From the table, it is evident that it is important to evaluate the work done by employees to measure the extent of achievements in organizations. Therefore, on the scale of one to ten Tilton gets a seven. Question 3
