Automobiles improved our life a lot because now we can visit our relatives and friends easily without making any effort. Before automobiles, people used to travel for about 3 months walking to reach other country under the sun with camels which now can be reached in 12 hours only with an automobile with cold air conditioner. This is a huge improvement in transportation which will increase the amount of people who will travel by automobiles. The automobile has affected the world more than any other invention of its time. It must adapt to whatever is going on in the world at the time and keep up with future innovations. Each year, cars are becoming quicker, more luxurious, and more environmentally safe. It is predicted that there will be a billion cars on the road by 2025 [2]. The invention of the automobile opened up doors to new inventions. It allowed for people to worry less about making it to dinner on time, and worry more about the actual dinner. People can travel faster in automobiles and feel more comfortable at the same time. They will continue to influence every part of economy. Without automobiles, life as we know it would not be the same, and the changes that they have brought upon the earth can be seen in every aspect of
Imagine how life would be if our society did not have cars. Today, our society is dependent on cars for our daily routines. From transporting our food, clothes, and technology to just going to the store across the street, cars are a very important part of our society. In the 19th century, only the wealthy and upper middle class had access to automobiles, and they only used cars for fancy transportation and to show off their money. This was due to the extreme prices of cars in the 19th century. With these high prices not many people could afford them, especially not the working class. Henry Ford revolutionized the automotive industry in the

In 1914, Henry Ford transformed the entire world by manufacturing bulk of automobiles and these automobiles completely changed our way of travelling. They became an integral part of our society and we all are dependent upon them. But the way coin has two sides there are pros and cons of automobiles. The economic cost of manufacturing and owing a vehicle can be ignored but there are various global effects which affect our everyday life and can’t be ignored. Few of them are environmental impact, noise pollution, emission of greenhouse gases, congestion from road infrastructure etc. But the most stunning effect is the economic and social burden caused by accidents and fatalities. In 1999 alone about 750,000 people died globally in road related
Automobiles play a major role in today's society. Almost every American owns at least one motorized transportation vehicle. Some say they make our lives better by reaching places faster than before. Others say they are a harmful to the environment. Have they made our society better or worse? They may be fast, but do we as humans want our environment to suffer because of time. Face it, cars pollute. And they release destructive chemicals into the air. Air pollution can threaten the health of many subjects in the environment including human beings.
The automobile began as a rich man’s toy, and in today’s society almost every single person owns one of these miraculous inventions. After the automobile became more popular, society has evolved around it, creating highways and fast food chains. The automobile has revised from a bare invention, such as the horseless carriage, to now technologically advanced motor vehicles with bluetooth and wireless internet. Since the beginning age of the automobile in 1885, the invention has advanced, prospered, and changed society throughout the world.
The document “The Social Influence of the Automobile” was written in June of 1922 by Allen D. Albert. In this article Albert is saying that since the creation of automobiles the life has shifted for the better. “…almost without a pause in our thinking have we adjusted our lives to these factors new since yesterday”1 while automobiles brought a drastic change in life as it was, people adjusted to it quickly. In 1920’s cars were available to the general public at an affordable price, therefor offering the public a better, faster way of getting from place to place. Most importantly according to the document cars brought a change in the social aspects of life. With the help of a car travel times were decreased. Cities were now in reaching distance.
The first automobile made their impact in rural areas for using on weekends to get away or cruise around instead of taking the daily transportation to work. People that lived in rural areas didn’t like the thought of having cars going by their houses and livestock, but it made transportation easier. Even though cars made transportation easier, there wasn’t air conditioning, heat or automatic windows. These things aren’t needed to be able to get from place to place, but are some advancements that we have today. Cars that we have today have just about everything that you can think of. For example, cars today have air conditioning, heat, power steering, radio, GPS, and the list goes on and on
Abstract—In this modern era, many advancements in technology have been witnessed. Research and data collected around the world have allowed for these advancements to take place. This has allowed for a better understanding of the footprint humans leave on the environment. As a result, this has allowed for the planet to become eco-friendlier. An eco-friendly advancement in the 21st century is the electric vehicle. There are a plethora of benefits using electric vehicles. Some advantages include no emissions, cost-effective, and low maintenance.

The automobile industry has a lot of advantages, it help us to go wherever we want, even in long or short distances. Also, every year there are new cars with new and better technology, but as everything it has disadvantages, for example: all cars expulse smog through the gasoline which contaminates the air and give a negative impact to the ambient preservation. That is why North Americans have to become aware and start to walk or use bycicles or motorcycles to reduce the air pollution. It is necessary to use automobiles If the person is going to a far location,

The automobile has had a tremendous impact on society and the environment since its development in the beginning of the 20th century. Today, there are over 500 million motor vehicles on the earth. The automobile's efficiency, style, and performance have changed over the years, but there is one thing that has not - the pollution the automobile generates. Because of the pollution, people find themselves asking whether this technology has helped our society or hurt it. Should the consequences of the automobile be cause to eliminate it? Or should science develop technology to eliminate the pollution caused by the car?
“Automobiles have a large impact on the quality of our environment and public health. Automobile use affects virtually every aspect of environmental quality - including noise levels, air quality, water pollution, and urban sprawl. Ninety percent of the environmental impact of automobiles occurs through the operation of the cars: about 10 percent from the production, raw materials and disposal of
Cars are used by many people all over the world to get them from place to place. Most of these cars are powered by gasoline, some are powered by diesel, and some newly cars are powered electrically. Many people believe that electric cars can be the future of the car industry, but will most other car companies hurt from this? Electric cars use an electric motor to power the car instead of an engine, the owner of an electric car recharges the battery inside the car to power the motor. According to Tesla Motors, an electric car company, “Tesla possesses a high powered wall connector, which completely recharges the car in under 4 hours, and at max power, the high powered wall connector charges at a speed of 56 miles range per hour”(Tesla Motors “Tesla Vehicles Provide Attractive Environmental Benefits” 6). While electric cars do not have as much range as gas-powered cars, no emissions are made from the electric battery, which in result ends up benefiting to the environment.
The world today is developing rapidly is every aspect of human life whether be it the technology, money or population. This change in the surroundings has made humankind to worry about the future. The advancement in technology nowadays is more focused towards the optimum utilisation of the exhaustible natural resources. The increase in population has resulted in the increase of the sale of automobiles as well.
