Clue I lie restlessly on the steel framed bed in the Orange County Jail. I don 't regret my decision to kill off Boddy. The only thing I do regret is not doing it sooner. I pulled off the bandana that was lied around my strawberry-blonde hair. It was mopped in sweat. The summer days in Florida were hot and muggy. I felt trapped in the ugly orange outfit the guards gave the inmates to wear. They shouldn 't treat me like this, I 'm a very rich lady you know. I laid my head back down on the pillow. I might be able to sleep if I take my mind off the previously occurring events. I knew I couldn 't though. The details still nagged at my brain. Boddy.....Tudor Mansion.....Kitchen.....Knife.....Passage. I finally fell asleep after about two …show more content…
"How do you do," I replied. "How 's your uncle?" "Dead. The car you sold him was faulty. He was my favorite uncle." I muttered. "Sorry to hear that." "Me too." Mrs. White led me on further. We went into a living room. There, the rest of the party guests sat. We all greeted each other warmly. Mrs. White asked, "Would you like a tour of the mansion?" We all agreed and she took us around, explaining the purpose of each and every room. The first one she showed us was the theatre. It had many rows of seats facing a huge screen. Then she led us next door to a spa. She told us about the secret passage that led to the guest room. I took note of this since it could come in handy with my plan. Next, she showed us the patio, but there wasn’t much to say about it. We all walked to the kitchen, which turned out to be my favorite room and Mr. Boddy 's death place. The kitchen had a box of sheathed knives on the counter. I smiled, knowing that one of those knives would soon be in my hands. Something then caught my eye. It was another secret passage. I just needed to know where it led to. After Mrs. White showed us the rest of the house, we sat down for dinner. I did find out where the secret passage led, right to the observatory. Dinner was a baked turkey with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a thick heavy gravy. We ate all of our scrumptious food then Mrs. White brought out a chocolate cake. It was for Mr. Boddy 's birthday. It was topped with a
way though the corridors, the line finally shortened and we went through a door that led to what seemed
At the bottom of the stairs, she turned to the left and went nearly to the end of a long, stone hallway, small rooms dug into the walls. She walked into the living quarters of her family and smiled. They'd gotten one of the biggest rooms, since her father was helping on the company's project here in the Sahara.
She started to show us to the right side dining room, but I noticed another waitress wave her to the left section. The left side seemed to be completely empty as we slid into a spacious booth near the back
I waved and smiled as they went to sit down. I took a deep breath, turned the oversized handle, and pushed my way into the very big, expensive looking room.
We walked into the prison to see a dark entrance . we then went through a door that took us into a hallway . Mr.Kirwin then stopped to show me
I can hear the White Rabbit 's watch tocking and ticking yet I don 't see him. He is late again. I might just fire him or water him, however, that phrase goes. I let my devious grin emerge from the dust to see him in the dark dry woods, he doesn 't see me but I see him in his half ironed quarter buttoned shirt. I am not a bad kitty, I simply don’t play nice with the kittens.
“We are almost there” whispered Granger, we have been walking for a couple minutes but it felt like an eternity. We stopped at an abandoned warehouse, it was large, had a couple broken windows and had been covered
I arrived at Mr Wood's own home to fix his leaking tap and was greeted by Mrs Wood, who loved me to bits. As I was working, she was talking to me, telling me how her day was and asking about mine. I smiled, loving our conversations.
around and surveyed the household. But there was one room left that they did not see.
Olivia came around from her desk and started walking down the hallway. I followed behind her only imagining what she had in mind for me. This was going to be a long thirty days.
The tour went on and we got to this one part of the building where there was a metal door at the end of the hall and I could only imagine what that room is used for.
“Hey,” he said in a low voice. “Good to see you, uh, come on in.” He led me into his house and into the living room, although he didn’t need to. I knew my way around it even in the dark.
First of all, I sat there and took in all the different sights. At first glance all you would see is the grill and my uncle probably standing in front of the grill. As I pay closer attention, if I look to the right as I pass through the door I notice the big white freezer. In that freezer
I opened the latch to the door and walked in, when I came in I saw Leah behind the loom. I was still in shock from what happened earlier, as I sat down on the wooden chair I didn’t need to look up to know who was coming. When Leah sat down she asked me what I saw today. I told her exactly what happened.
It was Halloween and, being the super mature teenager that I was, I went trick-or-treating. Going house to house and getting practically thrown at with candy just seemed entirely worth it. Considering I was 5,3, I wasn 't surprised that I could pull off being a 12-year-old for one night without calling attention to myself.
