Eventually everyone dies. Some die because of old age, illness, suicide, murder, or even accident. Sometimes it is hard to tell what or who is responsible. In William Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own deaths because they didn't talk to anyone, they didn't think their plans through, and they acted irrationally. If they had told someone, besides Friar and the nurse, they wouldn't have died. If Romeo and Juliet had talked to their parents about getting married they wouldn't have needed to hide it. Hiding their marriage caused many problems in the Capulet house because Lord Capulet wanted Juliet to marry Paris, but she couldn't because she was already married to Romeo. They did not think through all the possible outcomes before carrying out the plan. Romeo didn't get the letter on time so he didn't know the plan. Since Romeo didn't know the plan everything fell apart. When Romeo saw Juliet’s body, he acted irrationally and killed himself. If Romeo had waited just a little longer before he decided to kill himself he would've seen Juliet was not dead. Romeo drank poison only a little before Juliet woke up. When Juliet saw he was dead, she stabbed herself with a dagger. Both acted irrationally because they thought the other was dead. If neither had acted irrationally, Romeo and Juliet would still be alive. In conclusion, it was Romeo and Juliet’s fault that they died. If they had talked to someone, thought out their plans, and/or acted rationally, Romeo and Juliet would both lived. Other people played a role in their deaths, but it was mainly their own faults. Romeo and Juliet should've talked to someone other than the nurse and Friar, Juliet should've thought the plan through, and Romeo and Juliet shouldn't have acted irrationally. Both died because of themselves, but Romeo and Juliet is still considered a beautiful love
