Imagine a gigantic being with an armor plate around his chest and stomach with the color gold. He is strong and his spear can pierce through the thickest of armor. This war beast is a Spartan one of the strongest solider classes to ever baine existence on Earth. In another instance you sit in the forest all quiet and dim, the last thing you remember is a sharp poisonous dart hitting the side of your neck. All conscious fades as the dart from the ninja puts you to sleep for an eternity. Think of a fast agile man circling a group of nearby bandits. The Samurai with his quickness pierces all three bandits with his katana and slices their heads of clean with one swipe. His warcry possessed everyone that heard it as the

If caught, the boys were punished usually being beaten up however, they were never punished for the act of stealing. All these details cement Spartans as fearless beasts that are ready to take on any opposition in front of them in the war scene. Ninja’s were one of the scariest fighting forces to encounter because of their stealth. According to author Kallie Szczepanski, the proper name for a ninja is shinobi, a devastating fighting personnel that targets the heart of a defense. When the heart stops so does everything else. The ninja specialized in assassinations primarily around the eastern China region along with Japan where they originated from. The ninja used stealth and poison to dismantle their opponents in a blink of an eye. According to author Jeffrey Hays, ninjas preferred to escape rather to fight. Ninjas would throw smoke bombs, shoot fire arrows, or hide in water to evade and escape confrontation. They were masters of stealth learning to lower their weight when walking to achieve less noise. Ninjas also employed silent secret codes to communicate with each other and also wore dark navy blue to gain the best camouflage at night. Many people assume ninjas wore jet black robes but actually the dark navy blue produced less of a glare than jet back in moonlight. The ninja were feared because of their skills and their employment as assassins. Samurai used ninjas to perform dirty

From researching about knights and samurai, I believe that in a battle between a knight and samurai, the knight would have a greater chance in winning. This is because knights focused more on fighting techniques and how to improve them, rather than focusing on spiritual beliefs and traditions as well, which is what the samurai did. The knights also had very strong and good armour which helped a lot in battles, while the samurai’s armour changed a lot but wasn’t ever as effective as the knight’s armour. The knight’s weapons were also more advanced and better then the samurai weapons.
In about 1000 to 1600 CE in history two warriors were made with a different name and in two different countries. “More than a thousand years ago, a class of professional warriors arose, who swore oaths of loyalty to noble lords and fought to the death to defend them in battle” (Overview). The two warriors were samurai and knights. Samurais were fighting for Japan in the class of military retainers of the daiyomes while across the seas the knights were fighting on horseback in Europe. To keep order in the land both regions developed a system that historians called federalism. There were more differences than similarities and here are some reasons why the differences were greater than the similarities.
There was many great differences and similarities between samurais and knights. And today we are going to be figuring out which there is more differences or similarities between the two. One of the main and very noticeable differences between them is that the two are from different places one is from japan the other is from Europe. Causing different beliefs, fighting styles, and tec.
The samurai, or bushi (warrior), are well-trained cavalrymen that serve a particular lord. The first recorded history of the samurai was about the 9th century A.D. At that time the capitol of Japan was Kamakura, a military installation. Japan was ruled by an emperor who controlled his empire through the use of shoguns. Shoguns were generals that ruled over
The similarities between samurais and knights were greater than the differences due to the similarity in the hierarchy and the armor they used to protect themselves. The Samurai were “warriors who owed loyalty and military service to daimyos for land or regular payment.” They made up about 10% of Japan’s population. Similarly, knights were “warriors who owed loyalty and military service to the lord for land.” (Document A) There were about 12,000 knights in England and Normandy, France in the 12th century. Even though Japan and Europe had no communication or access to each other, both areas placed the warrior classes in the middle of the hierarchy and owed loyalty/military services. This shows that the social order of both Feudal Japan and Feudal
According to documents and history , around 1,000 years ago there were two different societies, in two different parts of the world that had warriors with differences. During these times, there was an emperor and a king ruling their empire/kingdom. They both had warriors they would send out into the felids. These warriors were from Japan and Europe. Japan warriors were called samurai (class warriors in feudal Japan who pledged loyalty to a noble in return for land) and Europe warriors were called knights(a noble warrior who fought on horseback in the Middle Ages). Samurai and Knight are more different than similar in three broad areas, training, armor. and their view of death.
Can you imagine a world without protection. In this essay we will discuss the differences and similarities between Knights and samurai. These are the three differences I'm going to talk about religious practices, views of women, and types of armor.
Do you think the Samurai and Knights had more similarities or more differences? The warriors of western Europe were called Knights and the warriors of Japan were called Samurai. The Minamoto, one of Japan’s largest military clans in the 1100’s, won the civil war and set up and set up a new government that was ran by a power general called a Shogun. Over many years, Shoguns rose and fell, each ruling Japan in the name of the Emperor. From about 1000 to 1600 CE in Japan and Europe, Samurai horseman were the muscle and brains of the warrior class, as well as a Knight horseman. Samurai and Knights were more alike than different, because they had the same social power system, physical training, and abide by the codes of honor. Even though they are alike, one way they were different would be
Roughly in the years 1000 to 1600 CE there were Samurai and knights. They were two very different but very similar warriors. Samurai were the knights of japan and knights were the samurai of europe. Both made from a lack of army and government, both needing land or payment, and both giving their lives to their master. They look very different, but are they more similar than they seem? Keep reading to find out.
Have you ever heard of the medieval knights from Europe or the medieval samurais from Japan. Both warrior served a important role in defense for their region. In fact both knights and samurais played a role in a social system known as feudalism. Feudalism began in Europe as early as the 8th century and began in Japan in about 1185 A.D both due to the lack of security. In a one-on-one battle, a samurai would win because of their strong weapons, enforced training, and the acceptance of death.
Samurai and knights always battling out in the battlefield. During this time both knights and samurai were fighting for protection. Both were developing codes such as Chivalry and Bushido. Both had a some sort of leader weather it's a shogun or a pope. Some historians will argue that samurai and knights are more different than similar, but they are more similar than different. The samurai and knights were more similar than different because they had similar armor and they had the same type of social pyramid.
The Spartans lived and breathed war. They learned to fight when they were children, and trained hard for it when they were adults.
For seven centuries, the samurai ruled Japan as the powerful warrior class. As a class of warriors and knights, they led society in feudal Japan. The loyalty to his lord was much more important than his allegiance to his friends, family and even the emperor. Their philosophy was one liberated him from fear, and for these reasons, the samurai came to be the dominate force throughout medieval Japan.
