During my high school’s years, I wondered on a daily basis what I was aiming to after I finished school. I dreamed of becoming a medical doctor, an archeologist or even a philosopher—certainly, I didn’t have a real idea of what I wanted. During my senior year of high school, all these dreams were truncated after I was kicked out of my house at the middle of the year. When the time to choose a career came, I had fewer options due to the lack of economical support from my parents and because I had missed the opportunities to apply for scholarships. One thing I want to accomplish is pass high school because I want to get a good job that pays good so I can get a house and pay for a car. First of all I want a good paying job so I can get a house. Also a good paying job would help with food clothes and buying gas for the car for my car. I don’t want to get an apartment, I want my own house. In addition a good job would help with all of the this paying for food, cloths, and bill. I would get a mechanicing job for the military, fixing tanks and humvees. I thought the best way to go about high school was to dial down my enthusiasm for anything and everything. I didn’t care about school, I didn’t care about college, and my future wasn’t even a thought in my mind. If you already know what you want to do why stay in school longer than you have to? My opinion is, if you know what you want to major in, you should only take needed classes. At Patrick County High School you have to have 14 electives before you can graduate. It would be better and easier to take only classes that you need for your career.
