There are stats that can be found for either position to state their arguments, however, no one can ignore the actual facts that should lead people to realize that social media is beneficial to society.

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat are all major social media outlets that people spend most of their day on, watching videos and viewing pictures of what people are doing. These outlets are a way of staying connected with the outside world and what is going on within it, but is it such a good thing to be able to see what everyone else is doing all the time? Most social networking sites are about making friends, and getting approval from others. It’s easier to make friends online because you get to view their profile. Most sites allow you to view a person’s age, what they’re interested in, what hobbies they have, favorite foods, all things someone can make a judgment about.
