The case study number that was selected for me was case study 4- Staff Relations. The case study discusses a scenario in which you were appointed to serve as the building level supervisor at your school 's negotiation meetings over teacher’s contracts. Throughout the case study it is revealed that the negotiations have become heated and there appears that there will be a work stoppage if this isn’t resolved. You and the president of the teacher’s association are good friends and begin to discuss the contract negotiations on the golf course. During that conversation you ask what it will take to make this go away and he obliges you with information that he is certain will end all of this as long as those demands are met. You go back with this information and the demands in which he had set forth are offered and denied during the meeting. This synopsis leads into questions in which I will be addressing in this paper. I will also be providing a personal and professional overview and conclusion that I have made on this case study.
