Last summer break, i was stuck at the airport waiting for my flight so i went to the book shop and brought this book American Snipe,it is a memoir by United States Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, the reasons i brought this book simply because many people said the movie version of the book is pretty good although i havent watched it at that time and secondly, this book is on sell. But After reading 30 pages, i dont find much connection with the book so i gave it up.during the winter break, after doing some research for this book talk assignment, i found this book is not boring at all.First, it is a story about how Chris became the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history, with more than 160 officially confirmed “kills” in the War from 2003 to 2009.And one of the most …show more content…

And again. You do it so the enemy won’t kill you or your countrymen. You do it until there’s no one left for you to kill. That’s what war is.”This quote is said when Chris Kyle is first sent to fallelujah. He has little struggle killing the first enemy, but throughout the book he says many times about how he has little regard for human life and is okay with killing people daily. He says his reasoning is that he did it to save fellow americans, which is a fair reasonKyle's tone is very, very patriotic. He is extremely proud of his country and will do anything to protect it. Everything he does, in war and out is for the sake of the U.S.A. Another tone throughout the book that Kyle uses is very aggressive. His personality alone is aggressive. He fights aggressively, he talks and acts aggressive and he has anxiety outside of war.This book is not very difficult read, it is very entertaining, and I learned a lot. I believe this book is best read by high school and college kids. I learned about the reality of the military, and the whole situation in the middle east. People in their 30+ normally understand these subjects, so I really think that it is best read for my age group as a learning
