Alpha Phi Case Study

As a member of Phi Theta Epsilon, I will continue to pursue my occupational therapy degree in the presence of other highly motivated students that share the same values and the same desire to contribute to the continued growth and promotion of our profession. I will continue to seek the knowledge and experience necessary for me to become the best occupational therapist that I can be for my future clients with the support of Phi Theta Epsilon. I will demonstrate continued academic excellence and professionalism through my role in positively representing occupational therapy at Alvernia. I am excited for the opportunity to represent occupational therapy not only here at Alvernia, but also within the larger community as well.

Delta has been able to focus on more important needs and issues at the time and have reunited sorors with the organization, gaining more help and support for the organization all while promoting all what Delta stands for.

A vision for the store is to create more than a place where people could get the equipment to sweat in, but also to create a community hub where people could learn and discuss physical aspects of self-awareness, healthy lifestyle and how to live a life of opportunity. In addition, it is important for the company to create real relationships with guests and understand what they were passionate about, how they loved, and then to help them celebrate their goals.

On the other hand, the nightlife of W.P. Carey is much different compare to the daytime. At night, especially on Tuesday, one can see as seamlessly orchestrated parade of Sororities girls and Fraternities boys, in all their pride and glory for their individual groups and Arizona State University, come through to gather for the weekly meetings. It seems like the majority of organizations have meetings or events at night on Tuesday. Alpha Sigma Phi had a bid day event on the courtyard, where old members and new or potential members meet up and enjoyed pizza and drinks to meet one another and welcome the new recruits into their brotherhood.

My primary non-academic activities and interests lie in the health and wellness area. I had the opportunity to work in a Co-Operatively Owned Natural Grocery during a summer, and that was what really gave me a passion in the field. I was able to see a whole different side of food’s effects on our bodies. The others who were working in the store had so much knowledge and experience with organic and natural foods. They were so passionate about educating others that they didn’t hesitate to teach and explain to me the importance of it all. Since then, I have become a dual degree student in both Management through the Kelley School of Business and Dietetics through the School of Public Health. Our Phi Theta Kappa Chapter partnered with Little City, a non-for profit organization, to create a vegetable garden, where we work throughout the summer and beginning of fall. I was part of the project from day one when we started setting everything up, until the day when we harvest some of the vegetables. Sigma Kappa was first established in Waterville, Maine at Colby College which was primarily a male based college during that time. My career goals are to get a job in the field of experiential marketing. I want a position that allows me to be both creative and analytical.
