The water beats at the bank feel gently, and resides carefully to avoid over soaking it. The air is fresh and overwhelming with cool gushes of wind blowing past, provoking the trees to yawn and some times sleep. It was a lovely Valentine day and perfect for a picnic at Lake Lavon. The grass was soft and green, reserved for those who wanted to lie down or sit. A sweet aroma of flowers overflowed near by like s shinning light, but was hidden by the untrimmed bushes and wildly growing trees. Up above me was the beautiful, high noon blue sky spotted with fluffy, white clouds and airplanes flying by. I emerged into the parking lot and stopped happily as a squirrel under a tree. Hesitating to proceed anywhere further I took a few …show more content…
At the end of the dock is a sign that reads; "No Fishing, No Swimming, No Dumping"; a sign that is quite often recognized by all visitors of parks and lakes and as big as the windshield. Around the lake there a hills and valleys around Lake Lavon. $200,00 home are springing up like mad. Retirees, former airline pilots, and people generally burned out on big cities are discovering Lake Lavon. The small lake but the perfect weather, and the safe-quiet atmosphere are drawing people like a cover-up draws Ed Bradly. Without thought or hesitation we smiled and warmly held ourselves in each other arms and slowly sat down together at the end of the dock, put out feet in the water and the water was so cool like melted water from snow (to eat the strawberries we brought). The strawberries were delicious; red, ripped, and plumped; sweetness caressed our mouth with very bite. Some were quite sour, but was washed it away by an ocean of water every time. As supplies ran short she decided to play lazy and had me carry her to watch the people fishing by the dock. Although very distinctive and precise, I was like a bear; very step was heavy and short. To the left side of the dock about 200ft people ware fishing and kid's playing soccer on the field near the lake. By watching them play I remember my childhood, that my mother always took me to the Lake Lavon every weekend to fishing, and now I'm with my girlfriend holding her hand and watching people fishing and
The front door opens to the blinding sun and the sweet smell of freshly cut grass surrounds me as I'm dragged out the door by the black shadow, my dog Louie a black maltipoo, with a grin on his face. Taunted by multicolored birds flying through the bright blue sky swoop down a strike of black fur can be seen chasing after them with me stumbling behind barely holding on to the leash. On the bright green grass fields outlined by either palm trees soaring into the sky or a few various styles of houses. With a magnificent view of the valley with airplanes flying overhead as well as the view of bowl like mountains. On the journey across these grassy fields you can spot a pond filled with a wide variety of fish, turtles as well as ducks. In fact during the spring time if your luck when you go down and seat on the bench overlooking the pond you may see cute little ducklings swimming around their mother. Although you could also see the shark known in the neighborhood which is 3 feet long carp which swimming around at dusk. With the occasional sound of a golf ball whizzing
Thump, thump, thump, bbssh, bbssh, bbssh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh. It was a beautiful summer day in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. My family decided to go hiking up in the woods to a roaring waterfall. As we began our journey we saw stunning trees and sparkling snow. It was like God had placed us in, The Garden of Eden! woods style. As we passed stacks of giant, slippery rocks we ran into other hikers smiling and laughing. The travel was tough, and we slipped multiple times. One group decided not to even finish!
As summer approaches, there’s only one way to beat the heat–lakeside! According to a 2005 summers survey conducted by the Travel Industry Association of America (TIA), over 70 percent of Americans will spend their summer splashing in lakes or heading to the beach for their vacation. Whether you’re planning a weekend away or spontaneously hitting the road, some of the best lakeside vacation destinations reside within our own National Park system.
Early the next evening, we raced up the highway for a few hours before coming to a single-story stucco home situated between two wooded, slow-sloping hills in a long narrow valley. The front lawn spread out beneath a terrace, its blades entwined with delicate dandelions that danced in unison with the breeze. Yellow roses and silver hydrangeas sprawled out in a gusty garden surrounded by yew hedges shaped like miniature elephants. If I squinted, I could make out a path that zigzagged between stubbly-needled pine trees, and the presence of a pond by the flashes of reflected light. Beyond the water were tiny purple grapevines, transformed in the soft glow of twilight to ginger.
The area of Dansville is abounding in little lakes, ponds and bubbling streams; a delight to any boy. On one occasion William went fishing with his young friends on a Sunday afternoon. It was such a nice summer day, hot in the sun, but cool in the woods by the shady pool. He was a good fisherman and before he knew it he had six good sized fish to take home. He was very proud of his fine catch.
There was a couple of days left of summer and my family and I were all wanting to get to the beach one last time. Tiscornia was at a comfortable temperature. The lake was not. Lake Michigan was at it’s coldest point all year along with being a little wavy, but that wasn’t going to stop me from enjoying myself.
The sun was especially bright as it reflected off the water, blinding the trees with the shine. The breeze was strong, but not too strong. Strong enough to blow my hair like an industrial fan would. Birds chirped in the distance, squirrels barked in the treetops, snails moved along the rocks in the river, leaving behind a thin trail of slime. The flowers' fragrances intoxicated me.
The early morning slightly pushed me the wind as I kept on walking forward through the woods. All lonely, I could faintly hear the birds chirping. The butterfly’s fluttering wings passed right above me through the early morning breeze. The moistness of the air felt as if the mist was sucking me in. Suddenly, the early morning sun started rising up through the early breeze. Soon after, the woods started glowing up green. The trees full of birds nest with the birds eggs in them. Soon, as I started looking down, I started seeing little creature eyes. You could smell the fresh smell of wood odor, after the only thing you could smell was the earthy smelling plants.
It was a pleasant day in the bucolic. To the left was the shinning sun and to the right a serene breeze was coming from across the pond. I was standing in the middle of the grass next to it smiling as I watched the ducks play about in the water. At the present time nobody was around except for the ducks or so I believed. In front of me was the little bungalow where I lived and behind it was the woods. As can be seen the scenery is always fetching. All things considered it was a place where nothing wicked could ever
I found that Mizoguchi’s staging within Ugetsu’s “By Boat in the Moonlight” scene was very interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgBHeJfnJ5s Astruc states that mise-en-scène is “movement of the body” (Astruc 266) that “extends states of minds” (267) like a song or rhythm (267). In this particular scene, I noticed how the character’s emotional responses changed through Mizoguchi’s “one scene/one shot” style. At 0:55, the camera pans from Genjuro and Tobei to Genichi in Miyagi’s arms. Until around 1:19, Miyagi seems fairly happy as they are avoiding danger by transporting by boat. However at 1:21, she looks away from the men and begins to appear upset. The men are talking about how they will become rich, hinting to the audience through Miyagi’s solemn movements that Genjuro is obsessed with the pursuit of wealth. Throughout the film, the viewer learns that this is his downfall, leading to him cheating on Miyagi with Lady Wakasa and ruining his life. Miyagi’s
As I left behind the somber forest, I now recognized an appreciation for nature that I did not realize I had. I now knew there was more to nature than just trees and animals, but also I found the
I am surrounded by the splendor of the nature. On a moderately sunny morning, birds are peeping while sitting on the gigantic mature tree in the park. The stream of water rising from the fountain is crafting a magical melody. The mesmerizing winds have imprisoned everyone’s attention. The bright colorful flowers are depicting the charms of their juvenile. Different pleasant sounds in the environment are contributing to the concerto of nature. Leaves rustling in the cool breeze are an amazing part of the environment. A young couple sitting on the bench beside the fountain is relishing the pleasant sight.
As I arrived in Hyde Park, my neighborhood, I glanced around at the scene that surrounded me: Green trees, brilliantly colored flowers, a slight smog-haze, and a amount of people. The beauty of the scene that encompassed me brought me immense joy. “Today is an absolute, perfect day! I hope I can enjoy it with my friends and family!” I thought to myself. It was looking like this day was shaping up to be s great one.
Along the lush green grass is small flowers growing in patches here in there. It’s sort of wild and unruly, but at the same time, it’s kind of like freedom. The warming rays of the sun heat my body up, but the cool wind dashing through the trees and my hair refreshes my body.
Once we arrived I could smell the deep aura of pine and green woods. The trees were basked in sun, giving of a cool shade; the branches of the trees seemed to follow the movements of the silent breeze that passed. Birds seem to fly by slowly almost lazily, there chirping heard from a distant as they passed.
