Grewing up the way that I did and seeing the thing that I have I felt like this could be a good book for me. The subject of the book is also something that I would like to learn more about. This being a non fiction book I seen a perfect chance to do actually that. What really made me choose this book was my interest in the title.

The next day where its raining and extremely muddy Bruno went to meetup with Shmuel at the fence to go on the search for Shmuel’s father . Finally Bruno was on the opposite side of the fence , as he was sneaking around trying to blend in with other people he never saw nothing like that seeing everyone looking miserable and skinny.
This story was my favorite because, it was a little scary at times and my favorite type of books to read are horror books. I also liked this book because it had a lot of those moments where you can’t put the book down, it is to good to not read.

At the very beginng of the search bruno saw how terribley they lived and how everyone was sick. During the seach the boys got hudled in with a group of men in a barrack. Rain begins to fall.

Just as Bruno is about to head home, the boys are surrounded by soldiers and forced to march. They're led to a gas chamber (neither boy realizes this), and once inside, they hold hands. The lights go off, chaos ensues, and we, unfortunately, know that the end of their story is not going to be
The reason I chose this novel is because it caught my attention, and seemed interesting. Looking through the list of books this one caught my eye, and seemed the most interesting.
After moving to Auschwitz due to his father's work requirements, he and his family must live next to a gigantic fence that encloses a large piece of land piled with huts, buildings and thousands of people dressed in dirty, striped pyjamas. Bruno’s father is almost never to be disturbed however Bruno is not aware as to why this is. These things would not be discussed to him and therefore Bruno had no understanding of the reality occurring around him. Given strict instructions from his parents, Bruno decides to disobey their laws and begins exploration around the fence and soon comes across a small figure on the opposite side. The figure appears to be a small, thin child named Shmuel who happens to be the same age as Bruno, except concerningly undernourished. Bruno innocently believes that Shmuel is just a young, Jewish boy and that he is living on the other side of the fence voluntarily with his family however never fully understands why he is there or why he is so thin. Bruno went out of his way to feed and entertain Shmuel, not seeing the consequences of these
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas was written by John Boyne, which won a New York Times Number 1 Bestseller. This story is about Bruno, a 9-year-old German boy who returns home from school one day, and discovers his maid Maria was packing his stuff. His father is a Nazi commandant during WWII receives a promotion which leads to his family moving from Berlin to Auschwitz. Bruno pronounces it Out-With. Bruno doesn't want to move and leave his friends behind.
During the 1940’s many things were changing especially for Bruno, his family, and the life he had in Berlin. He was being forced to move to Auschwitz after his father became a Nazi officer. He left his three best friends and traveled with his family to his new home. Bruno did not think anything good was going to come out of leaving his friends until he met Shmuel, a boy living in a concentration camp only a few miles away from their house. Being oblivious to his surroundings and the reason for Shmuel being in a concentration camp he creates a bond with him. Although the darkness in The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is evident, Bruno and Shmuel still find a way to create a strong friendship disregarding their differences that will last a lifetime.
