Discussion Thread: How do I go about Witnessing to People from Other Cultures?
I believe in cross-cultural evangelism. I believe that regardless of one's cultural background, the
most important thing is that he or she is ready to make an effort to get closer to God and
comprehend all he does. I do not believe that a person's religion should be severely governed by
their culture or where they are from. "He instructed them, "Go into all the world and preach the
gospel to all creation." Mark 16:15 (NIV). The Friendship technique is the technique that I
believe would be most beneficial. According to Lawrence and Abraham (2019), more than half
of respondents believe that this is the most popular way to share and discuss religion and God. I
truly feel that who or what one believes in or prays to is entirely up to the individual. However, I
think that God's message and direction may help everyone prepare to take the first step toward
accepting God and his love. People nowadays build relationships in a variety of contexts,
situations, and mediums. The friendship approach requires one to be aware of his or her
audience. A relationship has been developed, as well as an emotional connection. This permits
him or her to be aware of the friend's limits, pre-existing views, beliefs, and positions toward
religion and God. It is critical, especially in today's environment, to understand the individual
and be mindful of such limits. Furthermore, a pre-existing connection allows one to relate to the
buddy in terms of his or her level of comfort and understanding about God and Christianity. This
past friendship will also help him or her share God's word and Bible passages in a way that
allows him or her to relate immediately and build a personal connection with God. Making this
link for the buddy to God would substantially strengthen his or her emotional, bodily, and
spiritual relationship, as well as his or her views on religion and good ideas about becoming a
believer.
