Caro (KAHR-o), town (1990 pop. 4,054), Tuscola, co., E Mich., on Cass R. and 28 mi/45 km ENE of Saginaw; 43°29'N 83°24'W. In farm area (livestock; sugar beets, beans, potatoes, grain); dairying, beet sugar refining; mfg. (plastics, carbide and ceramic tools, business forms, thermoplastic parts, electrical fuel pumps). Settled 1867; inc. 1871.
