Duncannon
 
 
Duncannon (duhn-KA-nuhn), borough (1990 pop. 1,450), Perry co., S central Pa., 13 mi/21 km NW of Harrisburg, on Susquehanna R., 1 mi/1.6 km SW of (below) mouth of Juniata R. (both rivers bridged at confluence). Mfg. (concrete, furniture); agr. (corn, hay; dairying; livestock, poultry). Appalachian Trail descends from Peters Mt. ridge (Susquehanna R. flows through gap in mt.) to cross both rivers, passes through to W. Inc. 1844.
