Chicot, Lake (CHEEK-o), Chicot co., extreme SE Ark., 8 mi/12.9 km WSW of Greenville (Miss.). Largest natural lake in Ark. Crescent-shaped or oxbow lake, formed by cut off of Mississippi R. (to E); c.15 mi/24 km long, 1 mi/1.6 km wide. L. Chicot State Park is at N end. Resort (fishing, boating, bathing, hunting). Lake Village is on W shore.
