| Aquiles Serdán (ah-KEE-lais ser-DAHN), mining settlement (1990 pop. 3,916), Chihuahua, N Mexico, 12 mi/19 km ESE of Chihuahua; 28°30'N 105°40'W. Elev. 4,560 ft/1,390 m. RR terminus; agr. and cattle raising. Historically a wealthy mining center. Formerly Santa Eulalia. The mining camp Francisco Portillo, formerly Santo Domingo, is nearby. |
