Bruce Peninsula National Park
 
 
Bruce Peninsula National Park (106 sq mi/275 sq km), SW Ont., Canada, occupies both sides of Bruce Peninsula and isl. group N and W of Tobermory (excluding W end of peninsula and properties on either side of Highway 6). Niagara Escaprment follows Georgian Bay shore. Opposite side borders L. Huron. Major isls. are Cove, Echo, North Otter, Russel, Bears Rump, and Flowerpot; Flowerpot was formerly part of Georgian Bay Isls. Natl. Park. Waters surrounding isls. designated as Fathom Five Natl. Marine Park. Hiking, camping, swimming, cross-country skiing. Est. 1986.
