| Bomoseen, Lake (BO-mo-zeen), in towns of Castleton and Hubbardton, Rutland co., W Vt., 12 mi/19 km W of Rutland; 7.5 mi/12.1 km long, 1.5 mi/2.4 km wide; 43°37'N 73°13'W. Largest lake wholly within Vt. Surrounded by wooded hills, it is a popular summer resort. Bomoseen and Half Moon state parks here. |
