| Cristal, Sierra del (kree-STAHL, see-ER-uh dail), low range, Holguín prov., E Cuba, extending 20 mi/32 km WSW from Sagua de Tánamo; 20°30'N 75°12'W. Pico de Cristal rises to c.4,039 ft/1,231 m (rain forest at E foothills). Yields lumber. Numerous quarries; Nicaro nickel mines at N foot. |
