| Croton Falls, village (1990 pop. 970), Westchester co., SE N.Y., 12 mi/19 km WSW of Danbury (Conn.); 41°21'N 73°40'W. At S end of Croton Falls Reservoir (water supply for N.Y. city), impounded in a branch of Croton R. by Croton Falls Dam (1,100 ft/335 m long, 167 ft/51 m high; completed 1911). |
