Fulton Chain of Lakes, group of 8 small lakes in the Adirondacks, N central N.Y., extending SW from vicinity of Raquette L.; 43°45'N 74°57'W. Lakes are connected by streams, and drained by Middle Branch of Moose R. Fourth L. (c.3 sq mi/7.8 sq km) is largest of group. Noted canoe route through hunting, fishing, and resort region.
