| Dillon Lake, reservoir (2 sq mi/5.2 sq km), Muskingum co., E central Ohio, on Licking R., 5 mi/8 km NW of Zanesville; 40°00'N 82°05'W. Max. capacity 274,000 acre-ft. Formed by Dillon Dam (118 ft/36 m high), built (1960) by Army Corps of Engineers for flood control; also used for recreation and as a fish and wildlife pond. Dillon State Park on NE shore |
