Chickasaw (CHI-kuh-saw), county (505 sq mi/1,308 sq km; 1990 pop. 13,295), NE Iowa; New Hampton; 43°03'N 92°19'W. Rolling prairie; dairying and agr. area (hogs, cattle; corn, soybeans), with limestone quarries, sand and gravel pits. Drained by Cedar, Wapsipinicon, and Little Cedar rivers. Historic Little Brown Church in SW. General flooding in 1993. Formed 1851.
