RR junction in irrigated agr. area (sugar beets, potatoes, grain); mfg. (foods, fertilizers, apparel, farm equip., concrete). Eastern Idaho Fair takes place here annually; World Potato Exposition. Fort Hill Indian Reservation to E and S. Originally called Grove City. Founded 1878, inc. 1907.
