Curiosity about or attention to someone or something: concern, concernment, interest, interestedness. See CONCERN. 3. Thoughtful attention: attentiveness, concern, consideration, solicitude, thoughtfulness. See ATTITUDE, CONCERN, KIND, TREAT WELL. 4. A feeling of deference, approval, and liking: account, admiration, appreciation, consideration, esteem, estimation, favor, honor, respect. See RESPECT. 5. An act of directing the eyes on an object: contemplation, look, sight, view. See SEE. 6. The act of noting, observing, or taking into account: attention, cognizance, espial, heed, mark, note, notice, observance, observation, remark. See KNOWLEDGE, SEE. 7.
